How CyberXpert Ltd handles information when you visit the website or contact us.
Company information & privacy contact
CyberXpert Ltd is the controller for personal data processed through this website and business enquiries. Registered in England and Wales, company number 16326196. Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
Privacy contact: privacy@cyberxpert.co.uk.
Business website: cyberxpert.co.uk.
Personal data we collect
When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, company details, phone number and the information you include in your enquiry. General enquiry phone numbers are optional; incident support enquiries require a contact phone number. Valid personal and business email addresses are accepted. Please do not include passwords, confidential evidence or sensitive personal information.
Forms store enquiries in this website’s WordPress database and send a notification to the relevant CyberXpert contact route. Form IP-address logging and form-view analytics are disabled. The form software may still record browser/device information, the source page and submission time; hosting and security systems may process separate technical request information.
How we use personal data
We use relevant personal data to respond to enquiries and communications, operate and secure the website, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain functionality and comply with applicable legal obligations. Enquiry information is not used for marketing communications, behavioural profiling or automated decision-making.
Legal bases
CyberXpert Ltd relies on legitimate interests for responding to enquiries, operating the website securely and preventing misuse, subject to the balance with your rights and freedoms. Legal obligations apply where processing is required by law. Optional statistics are enabled only after the relevant preference has been chosen. Steps taken at your request before a contract may provide the basis for relevant booking or service-request information.
Cookies and optional services
The website uses Complianz to remember your privacy choices. Optional hosting-provided Gauges statistics are blocked until you enable the Statistics category. Google Analytics, Mixpanel and advertising tags are not configured on this website. See our cookie information for details and controls.
Consultation links open a separate Koalendar page. The main website does not load an embedded calendar or its supporting scripts. If you follow a booking link, the provider’s privacy information and controls apply. Enquiry forms do not depend on enabling optional statistics.
Sharing information
CyberXpert Ltd does not sell or rent personal data. Relevant providers support hosting, security and communications. Fluent Forms runs within our WordPress site; entries are stored there. Pressable provides hosting and the website’s transactional mail route.
If you choose to book a consultation, Koalendar processes the details you provide to arrange and manage that appointment. Read Koalendar’s privacy policy before submitting booking details. Booking is optional; you can use an enquiry form, telephone or email instead.
Email links open your own email application. Submitting an enquiry does not itself confirm inbox receipt or create an active service engagement.
International transfers
Some providers may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. CyberXpert Ltd uses appropriate safeguards where required, such as UK-approved transfer agreements, applicable standard contractual clauses or other recognised safeguards. Contact the privacy address for information relevant to your data.
Retention
Enquiry and contact data is retained for up to 12 months. Security and technical logs are retained for limited periods according to operational and legal requirements. Information may be retained longer where required by law or for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Contact privacy@cyberxpert.co.uk to exercise a right or ask a question.
Complaints, security and updates
Please contact us if you are concerned about how your information is handled. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority.
CyberXpert Ltd’s policy is to use appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No website or communication method can promise absolute security. Changes to this notice will be published on this page.
