MANAGED SECURITY
Microsoft 365 Security
Secure the identities behind your working day.
Email, collaboration and cloud access are closely connected. CyberXpert reviews Microsoft 365 security around the ways your people actually work, then helps prioritise and implement proportionate improvements.
Review Microsoft 365 securityWHO THIS HELPS
For organisations using Microsoft 365 that need clearer control of identity, email threats, external sharing, privileged access and security alerts.
THE PROBLEM TO SOLVE
A tenant can accumulate legacy access, broad sharing permissions and policies that no longer fit the business. Default settings and a strong Secure Score alone do not prove that material risks are controlled.
Receive a configuration findings report, licence and capability gap analysis, prioritised action plan and record of agreed changes. Each recommendation explains the risk, implementation dependency and business effect.
Identity, email and collaboration share the same tenant. Reviewing them together helps identify where access, permissions and configuration interact. The illustration shows those relationships; it is not a view of your live environment.
We agree tenant access and boundaries, collect configuration evidence, discuss business exceptions and prioritise changes. Implementation uses controlled stages to avoid unexpected user lockouts or disrupted collaboration.
A reassessment checks the agreed changes. Ongoing ownership can cover policy drift and security alerts, with investigation and response scoped explicitly.
Tenant size, licence mix, hybrid identity, domain count, existing integrations and implementation depth affect the proposal. Features such as Conditional Access, advanced email protection and retention depend on the licences held.
Your proposal sets out the deliverables, assumptions, exclusions and responsibilities before work begins. No fixed price or contractual inclusion is implied by this page.
A DEFINED ENGAGEMENT
01
Review of identity protection, MFA, privileged roles and authentication methods.
02
Email-security and domain-protection configuration review, including relevant DNS dependencies.
03
Assessment of guest access, collaboration sharing and available audit logging.
04
A licence-aware hardening plan, with change testing and rollback considerations.
Does Microsoft 365 Business Premium include everything?
No licence includes every possible security or compliance capability. We map your current subscriptions and requirements before recommending additional products.
Can you investigate a compromised mailbox?
Incident support can examine relevant access and mailbox activity where logs and permissions are available. Do not submit credentials or incident evidence through the website.
What do we receive from the Microsoft 365 review?
The review produces a prioritised hardening plan with findings linked to your tenant, business needs and available licences. Recommendations should distinguish configuration work, licensing dependencies and changes requiring testing or user communication.
What access and customer input are needed?
We agree the least access needed for the review and any implementation. Your team helps confirm licensing, important user workflows and change constraints. Privileged access, pilot users and rollback arrangements must be agreed before configuration changes begin.
Can our IT team implement the recommendations?
Yes. Findings can be handed to your IT team or provider with priorities and context. CyberXpert can also scope implementation separately, including controlled changes and follow-up checks. The assessment itself does not automatically include every recommended change.
LET’S DEFINE THE RIGHT SCOPE
Share your tenant size, licence mix and the access, email or sharing concerns you want to address. Do not send administrator credentials; review access is agreed separately.
