WHO THIS HELPS

An ISMS grounded in business practice.

For organisations pursuing certification, responding to customer assurance requests or bringing structure to existing security practices.

THE PROBLEM TO SOLVE

Policies can look complete while important decisions remain unowned. An effective ISMS needs leadership, a meaningful scope, risk-based controls and evidence that processes operate.

What you receive

Receive an implementation roadmap and agreed ISMS documentation, a risk and treatment record, control ownership and an evidence plan. The exact document set follows the engagement scope.

How delivery works

We understand your organisation, agree the ISMS boundaries, prioritise gaps and help implement workable processes. Audit readiness is reviewed against evidence and outstanding issues.

After delivery

The ISMS needs maintenance through change, reviews, corrective actions and internal audits. Ongoing advisory support can help keep it useful after certification.

What shapes scope and price

Business complexity, scope, existing maturity, locations, supplier dependencies and implementation support influence effort. Independent certification-body fees and audit scheduling are separate.

Your proposal sets out the deliverables, assumptions, exclusions and responsibilities before work begins. No fixed price or contractual inclusion is implied by this page.

A DEFINED ENGAGEMENT

What the work can cover.

01

ISMS scope, context and gap assessment.

02

Risk assessment, treatment planning and support for a relevant Statement of Applicability.

03

Proportionate policies, ownership and evidence workflows.

04

Preparation for management review, internal audit and external certification activity.

Questions worth asking.

Do you provide independent certification?

Consultancy and independent certification are distinct. A separate certification body makes the certification decision.

Will policies alone make us ready?

No. Policies must reflect actual practice, and the organisation needs evidence of operation, review and improvement.

Do we need a mature management system before engaging you?

No. The starting point can be a gap assessment or a review of an existing information security management system. Scope, business context and ownership help determine the work needed rather than assuming a standard set of documents will fit.

How involved do management and staff need to be?

Management needs to make decisions about scope, risk and resources, while process owners supply evidence of how controls operate. Consultancy can organise and support the work, but it cannot replace the organisation’s ownership of its management system.

Are certification audits included in consultancy?

Independent certification is a separate engagement with an authorised certification body. Consultancy can support preparation and improvement. Audit fees, internal audit work and any separately commissioned assessments should be identified in the proposal.
